Jacob came home today so excited to share the new book he checked out from the school library. As we sat down to read it, I always read the books to him, he surprised me and said he could read this book all by himself! Sure enough he did it. Every word. Here he is ready to read it again just before bed tonight. Can't you just see the excitement?

isn't it so fun watching them learn something new? it's kinda weird when they learn to read.... it's such an exciting thing!
